What should I do if the robot missed areas while cleaning?

When the robot is performing the vacuuming and mopping tasks in AUTO Mode or Area Mode, wait for the robot’s voice prompt to indicate that it has completed cleaning. If any area is not cleaned, we can consider it as a missed area.

If there is a missed area, first confirm whether the area is always the same area or different areas:

SAME AREA:

• Check if the carpet strategy is set to “BYPASS CARPETS” in the application.
  • Open the app > Enter
  • Click settings > Mopping pads auto-lifting.
  
  If “BYPASS CARPETS” is selected, then if a carpet is detected in the entrance of the area, the area will be avoided.
• Check for areas with thick carpet or floor mats. If the carpet/mat thickness or door ledges exceeds the height of 2cm, the DEEBOT will not pass through the area and will give up cleaning.

DIFFERENT AREA:

• It is advised to not follow the DEEBOT as it will consider you as an obstacle. It will lead to missed areas due to obstacle avoidance technology.
• Try to keep the surroundings of the DEEBOT tidy before start the cleaning. If it finds too many obstacles in its path, it will get misled and results in missing the areas during cleaning.
