How do I quickly create a map?
Preparation Before Mapping:
Open doors and remove floor debris to ensure a clear and well-lit environment for mapping.
Turn on the robot by pressing and holding the "Start" button, then place it in front of the station.
Press the "Back" button to dock the robot for charging.
Quick Mapping Options:
Using Voice Assistant: Say, "OK YIKO, Quick Mapping." During voice interaction, the robot's buttons will flash white.
Using the App:
Open the ECOVACS HOME app.
Go to Smart Cleaning > Quick Mapping.
Once mapping is complete, the robot will announce, "Mapping complete. Please check in the app."
Reminders: Ensure the robot is connected to the network and online for quick mapping. If offline, you can manually start mapping by pressing the "Start" button. The robot will create the map while working and notify you with "Cleaning complete, return to charging" once done.
